SCHOLAR BADGE CRITERIA

 

 

 

Ranks and Honours

  • Delhi Private School Sharjah does not rank its students. However, a grading process on the basis of marks scored is often done to facilitate college admission procedures.

    The school has a scholar badge ladder which awards students for consistent academic endeavour for seven consecutive years from grade 5 to grade 11 culminating with the winning of gold medal by the student. Students are encouraged to work for their scholar badge as it is a very prestigious award bestowed by the school for good consistent academic work.  (Please check Scholar Badge Policy)
Junior Scholar Award – Grades III, IV, V & Scholar Badge Tier 1 - Grade 5

  • 1. 10 GPA (91% and above) in core subjects
  • 2. 9 GPA (81%and above) in Arabic, UAESST/M, ED and Computer
  • 3. Stanine 6 in ASSET – all 3 subjects
  • 4. Clear pass in all subjects
  • 5. 'Avid' in the Reading program
  • 6. 95% Attendance

SB Certificate and badge

High Achiever

 1. 10 GPA (91% and above) in all core subjects
  • 2. 9 GPA (81% and above) in Arabic, UAESST/M, ED and Computer
  • 3. Stanine 9 in asset – atleast in one battery/ subject and Stanine 6 minimum in 2 batteries/ subjects
  • 4. Clear pass in all subjects
  • 5. 'Avid' in the Reading program
  • 6. 95% Attendance

SB Certificate + HA certificate
OR
HA certificate only (If not satisfying term-wise conditions or not satisfying 5,6 conditions)

Outstanding Achiever

  • 1. 10 GPA (91% and above) in all core subjects
  • 2. 10 GPA (91% and above) in all non core subjects(Arabic, UAESST,/M. ED, Computers)
  • 3. Stanine 9 in two batteries / subjects and minimum
  • Stanine  6 in one battery / subject
  • 4. Clear pass in all subjects
  • 5. 'Avid' in the Reading program
  • 6. 95% Attendance

SB Certificate + OA certificate
OR
OA certificate only (If not satisfying term-wise conditions or not satisfying 5,6 conditions)

Special ASSET Achiever

Stanine 9 in all three batteries

Irrespective of SB awarded or not
 

CONDITIONS: 
Scholar Badge will not be eligible to students who joined the school AFTER FIRST TERM, missed PT1, PT2 and take only PT3. 

Students should have taken at least two PTs to be awarded the scholar badge.  Special cases if any, will be decided by the management.

Junior Scholar badge:
Lime Green Badge – Grade 3
Parrot Green Badge – Grade 4

Scholar Badge Tier - 1

Red Badge – Grade 5
